A six-to-seven-month localization redesign

Building the operation
behind the output.

I managed multilingual content operations publishing approximately 1,500 videos per month, with responsibility for the workflows, teams, and quality controls behind them.

I led a localization redesign that included AI translation and voice testing, team restructuring, hiring, and documentation. Native-language and audiovisual quality checks remained part of the process.

More about my contribution

I owned one-to-ones, weekly operating meetings, performance setting, workload analysis, and hiring. Revenue, profitability, trajectory, and operating costs informed where we invested time and resources across the portfolio.

03 / SKWAD Media

Building a media
company from zero.

I co-founded SKWAD and helped build a nine-channel network across fitness, beauty, health, food, parenting, and other audience interests.

I hired and led a production team of more than 25 people, developed on-camera hosts, and built repeatable formats and creative-review processes.

Finding a format
worth coming back for.

I adapted a tournament-bracket format from coffee and cooking content to wine education. The blind tastings became a repeatable series across Trader Joe's, Costco, and comparisons between the two.

Giving creative teams
a clearer way to work.

As Head of Video Strategy, I worked across three editorial brands and internal marketing and e-commerce teams.

I designed a shared system for intake, prioritization, timelines, quality review, and ownership. My work also included developing Girls Beyond's positioning, content roadmap, distribution, and team.

What this experience taught me

Workflow adoption depends on leadership, incentives, and stakeholder habits. This experience sharpened how I identify the conditions a team needs to put a new process into practice.

02 / A little about me

I've been on both
sides of the brief.

I started in film and video production, working on events, documentaries, and commercial projects before co-founding SKWAD in 2016.

Since then, I've worked inside media companies, managed multilingual content operations, and partnered with creators on channel strategy. I've hired producers and editors, developed on-camera talent, and built the workflows that help teams deliver.

Today, my independent practice includes StoryConvert. I'm interested in conversations about YouTube, content strategy, creative leadership, and the operations that make good work possible.
